The physiological sigh (also known as cyclic sighing) involves two inhales through the nose, followed by a slow extended exhale through the mouth. It’s a simple yet powerful way to bring your body back into a state of regulation.
This is a great practice if you’re feeling anxious, overstimulated, overwhelmed, or just needing to come back into your body.
