In this episode with Nicole Kalil on This Is Women’s Work, I had the pleasure of discussing what it means to approach nervous system regulation as a lifestyle.
During our conversation, we explored the role of the thinking mind, the many distractions that pull us away from the present moment, and how to reconnect with purpose and pleasure in the work and experiences that shape our lives.
A central theme of the discussion was how mindfulness practices can move beyond the meditation mat and become something we integrate into our everyday lives. I truly believe that some of life’s most meaningful moments happen when we are present, regulated, and able to fully experience them.
